This graphic print presents the words of the Kushite Princess
Shepenwepet (daughter of the Kushite pharaoh Piankhy) addressed
to the altar of Osiris. The original inscription, from which the
text has been translated, comes from Wadi Halfa (in northern Sudan).
The text dates back to the 8th century BC.
