Representation of the Amon Temple at Jebel Barkal (Napata)

This work is a reconstruction attempt of the Amon Temple at Jebel
Barkal. Depicted as approaching the temple is a procession of priests
carrying a barque followed by a musical band. The procession represents
a traditional Kushite festival held in honor of the God Amon. Traditionally,
the deity object was placed inside a small canopy constructed on
top of a barque as shown in the drawing. A small crowd gathers around
the procession; some are depicted cheering with palm leaves. Back
